Andreas Behnke to head Swissport Basel

Andreas Behnke has been appointed CEO & Station Manager for Swissport at Basel’s trinational EuroAirport. In his new role, he will be responsible for all Swissport activities in Airport Ground Services, Air Cargo Handling, Executive Aviation and Lounge Hospitality.

Behnke, who is currently responsible for Swissport's cargo business at the EuroAirport in Basel, succeeds Gion-Pieder Pfister, who will go into planned retirement by the end of June 2019. Behnke joined Swissport as Station Manager Cargo in Basel in March 2017. Before his assignment with Swissport, he worked for global logistics companies, amongst others Panalpina.
